I'm digging the Mustang, great color. 03/04 I assume? I had a 2003 in grey, great car. For $10K, I would still pick one up used.

2002. Shoot, you can pick them up a lot cheaper than $10k. I no longer have mine, but I often toy with picking another one up, perhaps a Mach 1 this time.

Gracias. I used to always flip back and forth on the black wheels, but when it was clean they looked really good. Sold it back in March to buy my Alfa. Love the Alfa, but sometimes I feel really dumb for having sold this car. The Sonic Blue was gorgeous, and while it wasn't particularly quick, it was a ton of fun and sounded great.

I think it doesn't care about cool, but about Jalop-worth. About how derangedly in love with cars you have to be to risk you life and economy by driving/owning X car.

It may be spot on as far as the risking life/economy goes. The Alfa would kill me if I got in an accident, the BMW could bankrupt me, and the Mustang was relatively safe and relatively cheap. By gosh, you may be on to something!

Being the Ford guy I am, I couldn't have parted with it even though it's a GT that doesn't have a 5.0.

I've tossed around the idea of black wheels on the Montego eventually, or at least black centers with a chrome lip. The theme being red with black detail outside black with red detail inside/under the hood.
